天童木工 Centro Seriesソファ

Design : 剣持デザイン研究所。centro は中心を意味し暮らしの中心となるソファ。

戦後のデザイン黎明期を牽引した剣持勇。

剣持氏亡き後、かつて練られた構想をリデザインして1985年に剣持デザイン研究所より発表されました。

バネを使わずに底つき感が無く、柔らか過ぎない硬めの座り心地を実現しています。

腰の部分は点で支えられ、沈み過ぎない座面クッションは快適な座り心地です。

サイドのフレームだけでなく、背と座の内側にも成形合板が使われていて柔らかな曲線を実現しています。

日本のミッドセンチュリー家具の隠れた名作家具だと思います。

オフィスや公共施設のエントランスや待合や応接間のソファや宿泊施設などにも最適です。
